Corral Panel Buying Guide

The right corral panels make an enclosure easier to plan, install and maintain.

What size corral panel should I buy?

Common panel lengths include 10 ft, 12 ft and 20 ft options. Longer panels cover more distance with fewer connections, while shorter panels are easier to position around corners, gates and irregular spaces.

How many panels do I need?

Divide the usable perimeter by panel length, then add gates and allow for layout adjustments. For round pens, use the kit specifications because panel count depends on panel length and target diameter.

Four rails or five rails?

Four-rail panels are practical for many horse and livestock enclosures. Five-rail panels provide an additional horizontal rail and a more enclosed profile.

What steel gauge is best?

Gauge is one part of construction. Tubing size, weld quality, end caps, finish and overall design also matter. Review the complete product specification.

Galvanized, bare metal or powder-coated?

Choose galvanized for a zinc-coated finish, bare metal for a rustic option, or powder-coated for a finished protective surface.
